as a swing trader today is proving to be very tedious, no gaps so far to get in & with that nothing to get on

I just don’t understand why the BHA place races only 5 mins apart when it’s quite obvious it doesn’t work?, I mean it doesn’t really help anyone in the industry does it?

It is more of a scalping day today with such short gaps between races and so much on, there just isn't time for moves to develop.

Even for the day. I’d be well up if I just skipped York altogether...

Mixed results over here, have a lot on the plate and trying to balance it out.

just cherry picking today, I didn't realise I had this much patience, I actually think trading has improved me personally, there used to be a time where I'd get quite hot headed when I couldn't get on a move, these days I just let them by, probably one of the reasons why I used to lose money back then as a newbie

It doesn't bother me too much (as an inplay only trader who only trades the longer races) except for the domino effect of delays when anything goes wrong. In principle I think you're right though. If I were playing the shorter races too then I think Saturdays would drive me crazy.

They don't have much choice with 7 meetings. Try planing a schedule yourself. :)
