I might have a go tonight. I was wondering why Randwick was on Thursday and no Randwick or Rosehill for two Saturdays. The Australian equivalent of the Cheltenham Festival starts at the end of the month at Warrnambool which was quite good last year.

I'm now living in a lovely flat, but with no broadband connection, furniture to assemble, a bonkers cat desperate to get out, all windows shut whatever the weather for fear of the cat getting out, and another two weeks to go!

Always in awe of those people who sacrificed so much so we could live the life we do today. You look back at the suffering that took place and realise how lucky we are and how ungrateful people can be in this modern world.

I see a busy day on the card so I googled it, Anzac Day.
Wondered why my bot had a good night, no massive wins but decent amounts and a lot of races. Liquidity must have been decent for a Thursday.

I got up early to do the tail end of the card and the bots did well.

If you're using the new v1.52 beta you can set some good filters up for the Aussie races.

There's an example of one here of what you could do

Nine days of not trading, must be a world record! Ends tonight with the start of the 3-day meeting at Warrnambool - it was pretty good last year.

Cheers Derek didn't realise there was anything decent on downunder

Card looks dryish for the most part barring a couple of races there each night

Take a quick look at this time last year.

Not quite as I remembered it from last year. I thought the 3mf5 chase was a pattern race, equivalent to the Cheltenham Gold Cup or Grand Steeplechase de Paris - it's listed as a handicap on Racenet. I'm looking forward to the meeting, albeit, small stakes with a mobile connection. Should have broadband installed on Wednesday, hopefully.

Cheers. Have found 4G to be tradeable in the past — speeds are fine it's just the reliability but I reckon you'll have 0 probs in the early hours. Heavily area dependant too.

Even 3G was tradable. The problem is no backup connection and I miss the live pictures. But after nine days without trading I need to take it easy, it feels like being a virgin again.

Was paying 2-4% commission on AUS markets at the end of March, noticed I'm now back on 5-10%

Depends which states you're doing, Victorian racing for me is less than 4% but I'd imagine if people traded NSW markets you'd be looking at 8%
