This isn't an important question, just asking out of curiosity: does anyone know why Betfair video only covers Australian racing after 6am ?

Flemington's not the easy scalper's paradise as it usually is, but trading it is still a nice way to relax and unwind after Cheltenham. :D

I'm using Racing.com but it might be on AtTheRaces as well. Rosehill is on at the moment.

Can't believe V'landys is finally sticking up for the punters

Shame its only because it means less money for NSW racing and not because he actually gives a damn

Weekend down under kicks off with a Friday night group 1 and then to Saturday, five group 1s, with the richest 2 yo race in the world and Winx.

Yay.

An hour from the start of the first race at Rosehill, and things are already looking good. :D

If you haven't been barred from NSW try avoiding the shorter priced horses to reduce your turnover.

Things may get worse from what's been in the Australian news.

In the UK in the 1980's turnover tax was a whopping 10%. It didn't matter to me at the time because I was a teenager with small stakes and had no chance of winning anyway, but it would be enough to make gambling not worthwhile. It only takes a fraction of a percent to make trading not worthwhile.
