Lack of liquidity today has been more than compensated by some easy swings. :D

Seems like they're backing every fav too, like yesterday (seems they do this every Thursday and Friday)

Nice stable markets at Rosehill. Liquidity is up with a few 4-figure sums propping-up the market.

Ipswich is trading well, a refreshing changed to the chaos of UK markets yesterday.

This was fairly impressive in NZ earlier...

Incredible, I've never seen anything like that before!

Technically he fell and remounted. I think it would have been a disqualification if it happened in the UK as the jockey touched the ground.

I've never seen anything like it either... I'm pretty sure the rules over this side of the world are as long as you maintain contact with the horse, ie hold the reigns, then you can continue.

I'd imagine the UK guys would've rushed in to lay at 1000 if it happened over there, pity there was only me and what felt like one other guy watching this market!

What idiot at ATR has decided to put Hong Kong racing on instead of the Australian racing? Hong Kong is on RUK if you want to watch it, no need to ditch the Australian racing.

They've always or often done this.

The most bizarre thing about ATR is that they switch to Australian coverage at 2am precisely, even if their half way through a US race! Not even a voice over!

No they haven't, They sometime go to Sha Tin and not until 7am normally, even on the biggest of days at Sha Tin.

I'm pretty sure they've gone to either Hong Kong or Sha Tin around 5am because I've often switched off at this time.

Your suffering from that recency bias as mentioned in the other thread

Have a look at the Hong Kong racing schedule and you can see there has only been 5 Hong Kong meetings so far in 2018 (including today) on a Saturday and no more scheduled at least until the end of July.

http://www.hkjc.com/english/racing/Fixt ... lYear=2018

And even on those 4 times previous today they haven't switched to Hong Kong at 5am.

In that case it must be sha tin. I'm going back a year but they've sometimes switched at 5am.

It was one or the other and they did it several times last year.
