A trader with a big red book phoning to say a bomb's been planted in the stand? It's been known to happen before. ;)

Eagle Farm delayed because of a 'security issue involving the police' whatever that means. Did some degenerate turn up for a bet?

Bomb threat's been mentioned. It wasn't me, I didn't even trade EF. ;)

A horse was smoking a pipe on the rails at Randwick. Never heard that one before!

I've had quite a good night. Wasn't expecting much from today.

Same, was expecting very little, surprising on the upside.

Liquidity is above normal at the smaller tracks for some reason.

Yep ... my theory is that people who might have otherwise gone to the main metropolitan track, bet at the track and gotten merry are sitting at home, tapping away on their screen and whether it is betfair or corporates overall volume increases and corporate lay off here and there. Could be totally wrong, but that is my theory. The subtraction in the on course bookies and totes.

Despite the bomb threat, there's been good money at Eagle Farm

Yeah big $$ around today-staggering.I too hope it sticks around after quarantine(I am counting on people in UK getting used to the extra $$ that can be made here in Oz 8-) ) . Had a good day..one of those flashes of insight and doubled my usual profit  despite buggering around with stop losses early on which cost me 2 larger reds than I would have liked, but it led to the insight so all good :ugeek: . You will be happy to know that my stake is up to $18
