I'm pretty sure they've gone to either Hong Kong or Sha Tin around 5am because I've often switched off at this time.

Your suffering from that recency bias as mentioned in the other thread

Have a look at the Hong Kong racing schedule and you can see there has only been 5 Hong Kong meetings so far in 2018 (including today) on a Saturday and no more scheduled at least until the end of July.

And even on those 4 times previous today they haven't switched to Hong Kong at 5am.

In that case it must be sha tin. I'm going back a year but they've sometimes switched at 5am.

It was one or the other and they did it several times last year.

That clearly then isn't always or often as you said. And I would dispute your point about last year as well.

The markets have been nice to trade today. No manipulation money about like last week. Quite a few 'gappy' markets which I like.

I was just talking off the top of my head and from what I can remember. If you watch ATR at 5am regularly and are adamant that it never happened last year then I'll take your word for it.

The Sunshine Coast may be short of liquidity but it's certainly not short of fun. :D

Never traded Echuca before, very vibrant market with a fair liquidity for the time of year. :D

Usually metropolitan meetings so prizemoney better and city class horses/trainers/jockeys

Each state only has 1 meeting too so nice gaps between races (unlike a Saturday)

I might look to trade Wednesday's as well in the quieter UK months then. Need to be careful though of not falling foul of the Betfair limits on the NSW meetings.

I like the lack of time on Saturday's as the money all arrives in a few minutes and you can just move from market to market. The session flies by each week with races every 4 minutes or so.

Do you ever bother with the Harness racing, whenever I look at the end of the Saturday sessions the markets are pretty dead likewise the greyhounds.
