Some wally laid this at 6.0 for just under a grand, very early market. I took as much as I dared and just waited for the rest to get eaten. :D

I see what you mean about Sky radio being ahead of Betfair.

Qld not to race on Cox Plate day and Melbourne Cup day

They think they deserve the prizemoney NSW and Vic get when the fact is Qld's racing is far inferior (and they still get $42k to the winner tomorrow!)

From 0530 - 0730 Saturday morning Racing UK is showing the Caulfield action including the Caulfield Cup.

Not sure why they have bothered to 'steal' the rights to show it from ATR given that they don't bother supporting Australian racing the rest of the year. ATR to be fair to them are good supporters of Australian Racing. I only stumbled across the fact RUK were showing it, they haven't mentioned the fact they are showing it to date as far as I have seen. Very odd.

I watch AtTheRaces and racing.com, but with the exception of the group one races I only want to know when a race is due to start, so Sky radio is most useful - it's well ahead of the pictures.

Anyone can make a grand by having £5K on a 1-5 shot - doesn't mean you're not a wally!

Never said he was, or wasn't, just said he won a grand and asked a question which you avoided.

£13.25. But it's not really winnings, it was given to me by the wally. :D

I'm sure he can afford it out of his grand winnings.

How do you know he won?

He might have backed it 4.8 > 4.1!
