Nice win by Almandin over the fancied Gailo Chop in the Tancred Stakes
Wish I could have watched it but I'm away for Easter with my mobile connection, trying to preserve my data.
Was a really tight tussle down the last 300m. Quality race. 9 year old veteran Whoshothebarman got third I think.
Yes Whoshothebarman got 3rd.Nice race indeed. Ended my day with a 12 tick trade :P Might leave i there :)

Nice one mcgoo, good way to end the night, or afternoon as the case may be. :)

(Happy Easter to you too mcgoo).

Tonight's crazy bets that move the market several ticks never seem to start a sustained move - you can always count on the market moving back. Trader's with a reversion to the mean style of trading will probably do well in Australia.

What's the average turnover roughly on general day to day racing in Australia? Never traded it before considering giving it a go

Pretty poor really. Major metropolitan races on Saturday will have mid six figure turnover - other races lucky to get to six figures.

Not a whip with the graphs but the fav in Randwick Race 1 drifted from 3 out to 7, that would have been a decent one to ride!

and the market got it right, pre-race favourite bombed and a 50/1 shot took it down!

Missed the first race but the next two were trading well - looks like it's gonna be a good night. :D

I'm trying to keep my turnover down but I just can't resist scalping these markets because it's so easy.

I'm not yet liable for TC. I reckon my profits are less than what Betfair have to pay in charges. I'm trying to keep my stakes down, but as soon as I get the dreaded email from Betfair I'll pack up with NSW.

Edit: <<Who has two thumbs and nailed a last 12 tick trade for another(small but satisfying) profitable day   ..inches :P
