Australian racing
Fook!! I didn't realise how little an Aussie dollar is. Better keep a close eye on this - I'm keeping a £3K limit to be safe.
I had the turnover charge at 1.2% on an old spreadsheet so it appears to have doubled to 2.4%.You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

But only where your commission generated is <1.25% of your back bets. That might give you some wiggle room. That rule is a new one on me and didn't know it used to be 1.5%. I generate quite a lot of commission so I might have been able to trade nsw when I'd been avoiding them.
That's commission generated on NSW markets only.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 7:16 pmBut only where your commission generated is <1.25% of your back bets. That might give you some wiggle room. If you place £5K of back bets you would have to win at least £1250 to generate £62.50 commission (only half the commission paid counts as generated commission). That rule is really there to protect punters, who win or lose will pay a lot of commission.

They problem Derek is that you're too consistant. Instead of steadily grinding your way to a couple of hundered you need to win 1250 and lose 1050.
Yep, the dreaded email. That time when you think, "shizer wish I didn't get a personalised email because I feel like I've got a target painted on me".Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 5:25 pmGot the email. Isn't it wonderful to know that, like PC, only a small number of people have to pay the charge, and I'm just unlucky enough to be one of them?
No doubt when I hand over the money for my shed I'll be told: "Hey, don't worry, only a small number of people have to pay for a shed - the people who wish to purchase a shed"!!

Just a heads up, Sky doesn't appear to be geoblocked at present (tested it from my VPN from a number of countries including the UK and it worked)
Sky 1 - https://skylivetab-i.akamaihd.net/hls/l ... 69779.m3u8
Sky 2 - https://skylivetab-i.akamaihd.net/hls/l ... 69779.m3u8
Be aware that it's about 15 seconds delayed (actually just double checked and it's close to 20 seconds through a VPN), but it covers every Aus and NZ throroughbred, harness and greyhound race on the exchange.

$6000/8 races.
And imagine if there are a bunch of short priced faves eg a Winx - would have to skip the race or conversely just do that race.
So I suspect people avoid races with odds on faves and look for races 4.0 and over or concentrate on opportunities at higher odds near the crossover 48/50/55.
It's quite a dilemma. The shorter priced horses trade best for me but I'll have to look at changing my approach. Let's hope Racing NSW starts to see some sense at some stage in the future.gazuty wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 6:13 am$6000/8 races.
