ATR have been promising a new product for live streaming and it`s been delayed by about 18 months for no reason. Anyone know anything?

Is race radio (eg. William Hill's) delayed?

The bell coincides with a market going in-play so I am thinking there is little to no delay.

At the end of the day there will always be a delay I think you just have to factor it in.
Personally I find refreshing feeds sometimes gets a better delay,if the race goes IP on BetAngel and the picture is clearly behind I'm out.
Personally I weigh up the obvious delay with the odds movements which gives a pretty clear picture of a race.
What I do find odd is the commentary is always behind sometimes by a whole fence.

Perform is no longer doing streaming for horse racing and the sports are expensive , just use a satellite dish and pay for the freq and raw feed codes for horses , darts , tennis . Snooker . Etc

Hi groovey
Sorry freq was short for frequency , ie the channel you wanted to watch for example 1 frequency yesterday was 10996h 03330 , which was ripon races , obviously encrypted but the codes are available for a subscription , makes it much more playable than Betfair live video which we all know is unstable with its delay

Perform have contracts with some sports for satellite distribution of pictures. For these sports, Perform can add a delay into the satellite feed to ensure that their online streaming product is faster than the satellite feed. Whatever events are available on the Perform online streaming service there is a chance that Perform could be adding adding delay to the raw satellite feeds. The raw satellite feed for these sports might be playable as the pictures will generally be ahead of bookmakers online streams, it just depends if there is enough liquidity left after courtsiders and Perform online subscribers have taken their slice.

For the horse racing feeds by satellite, Perform are not involved so they are unable to add delay into the raw satellite pictures. Normally, you can expect the raw satellite feeds for horse racing to be in the region of 1.0 seconds to 1.2 seconds ahead of Betfair live video, sometimes more, on some occasions less.

One point about the horse racing feeds is that the usual satellite is wobbling up and down. At some times of the day it is more than one degree above the central point, other times it is more than one degree below the central point, ie, a 2 degree variance about a central point. This is not a problem provided the end user can pivot their dish up and down if and when required to keep a decent lock on the satellite.

I looked at the raw feed is a little while ago and they weren't significantly different from the live video feeds the Betfair now provide.

I think the Betdaq ones a pretty good. They are well ahead of Channel 4. Can't say I have compared to Betfair.

You just need to have some exposure on the market to get the BD feed, you used to be able to get it with no bets being placed but the providers put pay to that.

As soon as you have the feed up and running for the market you can close out your position and the pictures will carry on.

One big annoyance is though that if you have turned money over but have no exposure you can't load the feed. I find this very annoying.

Hi

Anyone who has an experience with PerformGroup recently ? Do they still offering fast sports streams for small customers ? Or is there some alternative to get fast sports streams a bit faster than sattelite feeds ? I contacted them directly many times, but they are not responding. Thanks.

Sorry for bumping an old post.

Was recently contacted by someone offering subscriptions to "Cobain". As I understand it, Cobain hasn't existed for quite some time but apparently some form of it exists to this day.

Anyone have any experience? The price I was quoted was very high, if anyone is using this service if you could PM a ballpark figure so I know I'm not being screwed over that would be great 😀
