Thanks Dallas, that is possible, but I'm sure the rules file I've created is not quite right too.

Signal when Goals are Scored Guardian Automation Bot
Few minor things, i assume you want to lay (after a goal) then place a offset back bet? if so you need to tick the fill/kill to ensure your back bet is only placed after your lay is matched - you could also use 'offset with greening' hereiain3 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2017 10:32 amThanks Dallas, very much appreciated.
I'm trying to create an automation that will place an offset Lay bet after a goal in the Over 1.5 Goals market, then when a certain profit is reached (providing there's not a second goal before then), it will green-up.
I've just tried this on match, but the Lay bet triggered after 13 minutes and no sign of any goal. Luckily, as it happened the odds drifted anyway and it still greened up, though not the target profit I set, which was 50%. It's more like 10%.
I've got a lot to learn here and I'm sure I've made a good few mistakes. I've attached the rules file that I used. Would you mind taking a look please?
Many thanks,
Iain.
The green up rule needs a 'Green All Profit condition' to tell it at what amount to trigger
Yes i can take a look for you, before you post it just check you have guardian set properly and are refreshing as fast as possible (especially if you have dozens of markets in it) this link explains it further and how automation is effected by it

Thank you, Dallas,
I did have the refresh rate set to 1 second, but I've now changed it to 200 milliseconds - this is the fastest I have with version 1.47.0. Though earlier when it failed, I had only got 4 or 5 matches selected. But I'll keep trying with the faster setting.

4-5 markets shouldn't make any difference even with a 1 sec refresh rate, if you enable streaming settings > edit settings > communications you can refresh as fast as 20ms (update 50 markets every second in guardian).iain3 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2017 10:19 pmThank you, Dallas,

Iain.Lay Over 1.5 Goals After a Goal.baf
I'll try take a look at the rule in morning see if i can see anything a miss
Cheers Dallas that would be great.
Incidentally, I've checked Streaming Settings as per the other post, but it still limits me to 200 milliseconds. I've attached a screenshot.

Those are just the back ground prices, if you now look at the refresh rates on your main trading screen and in guardian you will have 20ms available
I found the problems with your rule;
On your lay rule add a 'signal set condition'
is the signal on market
named 'goal'
set with a value
also remove the 'Green all profit condition' from your lay rule and put it on your 'green up' rule
(at the moment your saying place lay bet if profit is >£0 which of course it isn't as no bet has been placed yet therefore it cant trigger.
I would also place the lay at 2nd/3rd best market price just to ensure it has a better chance of being matched when its placed
I've just tried this on some matches that started at 11am, but on all of them that have now gone in-play, it's placed the Lay bet at 11am too.
There is not much liquidity, which I'm sure is likely the reason and the odds between the back and lay prices are in some cases very large indeed. I know I can add a Volume condition, but is there anything I can add to ensure it won't bet if there is a large gap between back and lay prices?
EDIT: Since I started writing this post, another bet has got matched again practically at KO, but this time the market had nearly £5,000 matched and the odds were close, so maybe it's not a liquidity issue?
Also, despite having the Off-set bet percentage to 50%, it greened out to £0.00. Does the Green All Profit Condition in my Green Up Rule override the off-set bet percentage setting?

Did you add the 'signal set condition' to your lay rule as above? that would explain why the lays triggering immediately after KOiain3 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 11:11 amI've just tried this on some matches that started at 11am, but on all of them that have now gone in-play, it's placed the Lay bet at 11am too.

Yes the greening rule will override an offset if its conditions are met, you could set your green up rule to arm after 1min
The 'relative odds condition' can be used to check there is no gaps between the back and lay price,
ie selections back price
is equal to its lay price
minus 1 tick
Thanks again, Dallas.
I did indeed add the 'signal set condition' to my lay rule as you suggested. I've attached a screengrab.
For the Green Up to Arm after 60 seconds: is this using the Unsuspended Time Condition and set to greater than 60 seconds.
I've also used the Relative Odds Condition as suggested.
Really sorry for giving you all this hassle, Dallas.
