It depends on the time your placing the bets and how big they are in relation to what money may be avalible as to what will work best for you.
Normally 1-3 ticks more on the 'place at' than used on the 'trigger at' will be enough in most instances

Its possible to have more than one rule as long as its in the same automation file

You could open additional instances of Bet Angel if you need/want to run more than one automation file but as the same Betfair account will be used you ll need to ensure they dont conflict with each other.

Click into each rule type and change the 'Applies to' section as the bottom of the general tab

If you want to do by name you will either have to apply the rule to just one market at a time and go in and edit the names between races ready for the next.
Or you would need to make multiple copies of the whole rule so you can name the different runners required in each market

If you only want to Dutch upto two runners in the 'Applies to' selection you can use 'Guardain Nominated 1 & 2' then you can quickly select the runners for each race from the guardian main page as shown in the image in the opening post of this thread.

Is it possible to dutch back the first three favs, 2 or 3 seconds after the start going by BSP, if the total % of their odds is under 85%

Thank you.

You could trigger a bet based on BSP a number of seconds after going in-play but can only look at the whole book% as a condition.

hi dallas

i have modified this to back the first 3 fav with book value of 20..
but sometime due to odd it backs them with a loss..
pls see below logs
26/02/2017 19:24:56: [G_Auto] : £ 12.20 Back bet placed on Super Shopper at 1.64. Fully matched at 1.64. Ref: 10071
26/02/2017 19:24:56: [G_Auto] : £ 4.65 Back bet placed on Proxima Centauris at 4.3. Fully matched at 4.3. Ref: 10072
26/02/2017 19:24:56: [G_Auto] : £ 4.26 Back bet placed on Coquivacoa at 4.7. Fully matched at 4.7. Ref: 10073
this was having loss of 1.1 even if any fav wins.

is there a rule where we can make this not to back if it leads to loss ???

i mean dutch with book % f0r 20 quid..
in your example you have used 10 i think.. .

If you add a fixed odds condition or two on each of the backing rules and specify that the fav has to be greater than X odds and/or 3rd fav less than X odds it will stop it triggering when their is a short priced fav or 3rd fav is at high odds and that will mean you will get a profit on all three as their odds will all be in a defined range - ie, 2.5 - 15.0
