I have been playing around with this and I was wondering if it's possible to create a trailing in play stop loss that follows into profit? If so, how would it be it be implemented?
Thanks,
Bradders

Highlight each back rule and click 'edit rules file' then go to the parameters tab and its under global settingsBradders20 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2017 5:44 amI have been playing around with this and I was wondering if it's possible to create a trailing in play stop loss that follows into profit? Sorry Dallas, I can't find this. I can't highlight both back bets only select one?
You need to do them one at a timeBradders20 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2017 10:43 amSorry Dallas, I can't find this. I can't highlight both back bets only select one?
Hi Dallas
Tried this dobbing file yesterday and it seemed great. I was wondering if it was possible to do a couple of other things. First after backing a horse offset the lay side at say 10% 20% 30% 40% and 50% in equal stakes. Secondly would it be possible to have a trailing stop loss at say 50%. So that if the horse doesn’t reach the 50% mark it will green/red the remaining liability. Cheers

A 50% stop and stopping if it doesn't get to 50% are quite different. Which did you want?
Also at the 10 20 30 etc do you want equal stakes as you say or an equal reduction in your liability at each step. Which of the 10 20 30 etc would be your breakeven level?
All doable but I'm not sure what you are looking for.

... For now you might want to try creating a bot which places 5 x 'offset bet with greening and stop' bets all set to different offsets but with the same 50% stop. Try it in a spreadsheet or practice mode first.
The 10 20 30 40 50 per cent would I think be an equal reduction in liability. The trailing stop loss would be to half the loss if the selection is not running to its potential but if it did come down in price the stop loss would follow its best price, so if the initial stop loss was say 12 ticks it would remain at 12 ticks from the shortest price it had attained.

Ok guys, please can someone help me. I have used both Peter Webb's guidance on his Dobbing video and I have also tried to use this bot and both of them delete the 'lay' bet once the race starts....please can someone explain why this is and what I need to rectify this. Thanks
The lay bet of this file is not placed until after the race has gone in-play the selection reaches 50% its BSPdarren1963 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 3:55 pmOk guys, please can someone help me. Thank you for the response, and I understand what you are saying. However, even when the odds reach 50% of the BSP the lay bet does not kick in. It just disappears and the race is run and even when the BSP is 50% it does not place the lay bet.Dallas wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 4:05 pmThe lay bet of this file is not placed until after the race has gone in-play the selection reaches 50% its BSPdarren1963 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 3:55 pmOk guys, please can someone help me. Not sure what you mean by "the lay bet does not kick in. Once the lay has been triggered it will remain in the market till matched
Also what refresh rate are you using in guardian?
It should be at least 200ms for in-running automation (preferably 20ms if you have streaming enabled), if your using a slower rate than this it would explain why it may not be triggering
This thread explains how guardian refresh rate effects automation
