Maybe contacting someone bang in the middle of a crisis wasn't the optimum time, unless you knew how to fix it?
I'd always look more kindly on customers who waited until the dust had settled to talk. You know these people though, so I guess you know when they're most receptive.
At least emails can be answered when they choose. lol - the SAME issue. I guess that is a great get out clause. If it's any consolation, me neither, but could be something to do with spotting things early and stopping for the day. Anyone who was not so fortunate, or fortunate depending on results, probably got a kind message or compensation. I have a response from Betfair
Saturdays issue was the result of a technical problem with the application that we use to manage markets. The operators of the market management tools were receiving errors when attempting manage (activate, suspend, turn-play, & settle) so we made the decision to take down the Exchange while this was being investigated as a precautionary measure. Given the severity of the issue a detailed investigation is taking place to ensure that we can identify the root cause and prevent this from reoccurring in the future.
