This servant is for use just about any type of market both pre-and in-play.

As the title suggests the purpose of these servants is to delay the offsetting of bets after the opening bet is matched.

There are two servant files available for download at the bottom of this post which work the same except one will place an opening back bet the other an opening lay bet.

Once started it will place the bet on the servant context selection at the servant context price using the servant context stake (all this means is it will place the bet on the selection and at the price you have your mouse cursor hovering over at the time its started, it will also use whatever stake you have chosen for that selection on either the ladder or one-click screen).

The Servant works by setting a signal on the selection when a bet is first placed, that same signal value is then incremented by 1 when there are no unmatched bets on the selection (meaning of course it’s been matched). The close trade with greening rule (which is the offset part) then triggers 10 secs after the signal value was incremented to 2 which gives you the delay in offsetting and greening up.

So, to briefly recap
Servant started, and bet is placed – Signal value incremented to 1
Bet is matched – Signal value increased to 2
Close trade with greening rule – triggers 10 seconds after the signal value has reached 2

And its this ‘signal changed condition’ on the close trade with greening rule that you would edit if you want to change the number of seconds delay used.

Finally, if the price starts to move against you before the delay has ended or before your offset is matched, you can of course manually intervene and green up as normal any time you want. Or if your opening bet does not get matched and you decide to cancel it and start the servant again upon each time you start the servant it will run a rule to ensure ALL previous servants on that selection have been stopped - so there is no danger of having it trigger twice by mistake or conflict with an earlier servant.

To use the files just click on either or both the ASC Delayed Offset with Greening – Back and ASC Delayed Offset with Greening -Lay.Baf attachment links below and this will download it to your computer, then open your Servant Manager window and click the rules link at the top and then "Import a Rules File" as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in your dropdown boxes and is ready to be started whenever required.

Once you have it imported into your Servant Manager it can be edited very easily simply by clicking on "Edit Rules File".

With any servant always run in practice mode first to ensure everything is working fine, and repeat this each time you make any changes.

See the following thread for step by step instructions on downloading and importing a servant into your Bet Angel, or see image below on were to import it in your Servant Manager.
