The press....you should have been on the some of the Spurs forums the last few days...absolute scenes, you wouldn't believe, even by online standards!
I've felt for a while that Spurs were way too big in the winners, especially when they hit 22's a week or two ago, but I'm more biased than I'd like to admit. Still, given Chelski and Arsenal needing to adjust to new managers in a season with Thursday night footie and the Mourinho version of United liable to implode, I don't get the price. City are just too short for me at this point, coming in quite a bit in a few weeks. Hard to argue against City getting there in the end, but there's good value to be amongst the next five, if you can catch the ebbs and flows (and City don't run away with it from day one).
Specifically, the window leaves us short 2-3 players, which will now be filled squad-wise by players who haven't performed in recent seasons or youngsters coming through, which is always a risky proposition.
