Thought it would be useful to start a fresh topic for this event.

Must say the lineup this year seems pretty disappointing. Germany/Chille surely the most likely winner?

I see it as quite open. Portugal and Mexico both looked good. Mexico have been doing well in WC qualification.

Russia have improved I think, can't see them winning but have home advantage.

Of the others, Cameroon at times looked completely hopeless, at others quite competitive. Didn't see Australia. NZ not badly organised but not capable of scoring in open play. From a trading perspective, I think they've been good games. International football is of a higher standard, and so is more organised/patterned, and so possibly seems more predictable? For e.g. Portugal and Mexico cancelled each other out and then attacked each other at certain periods.
