£1.55m traded on the match, £1.45m traded on the draw :o

The draw has gone off, odds on!

Rigging a game like this that involves at least 22 players being in on it surely has got to be nigh on impossible. One or two in a team could be bent and throw a game away such has happened before, but for a draw you'd to control too many people. Lay it up I say (not that I'll be putting my money where my mouth is!)

Surely there'll be an inquiry? I couldn't watch the end of the game, to anyone who saw it, was it competitive?

Chievo 'take the lead' and Catania equalise with a 'penalty'

Basically 95% of the money on draw and most of the CS market at 1-1

It` s seems to be a corrupted match..All the allegation are right but there no proof yet. some1 said to rig a game like this you need 22 players involved. Those 22 players on the pitch all togheter worth around 3.9 million pounds a week, over 203 million pounds a year. would they RISK their football carrieir for an extra 2.2 million? When match fixing happened over Italy few years ago there was over 5 billion pounds worth the scum.

Hi,

From the information I gathered it wasn't a corrupted match, it was a settled match. Both teams wanted the match to end in a draw and they have settled it. The difference to corruption may be subtle, but there is one.

HI

Well Silvio was holding quite an extravagent rally so maybe he needed a few extra quid to cover his expenses. I would use the word corruption together with the word allegedly.

You don't want to be waking up with a horses head in the bed with some blue circle wellies, being made an offer you can't refuse.

No doubt the Pontif will forgive them he's forgiven everyone else allegedly.

Cheers

I watched a replay of this game. If the result was settled to 1-1 the way they played the game ( very competitive) makes you wonder that every matches can be settled if footballers are so good to act. it remind me of a wrestling fight. I have also news from Italy, Chievo and Catania players were contacted from Holliwood to record a film..
