Hi,

Last night I traded a soccer match in South America.

But, before the start I got £52 matched at 11.12

I didn't think those odds was available, only 11.0, 11.5 etc ?

Thoughts ?

Cheers,

Most probably Betfair shows you the average odds you were matched at.

It could be that part of that £52 was matched at 11.00, part at 11.50, part at 12.00.

Very strange though because there was £80 at 11.00, £65 at 11.5 and £47 at 12.0, the moment I placed the bet at 12

Thanks,

Like northbound says it just shows average odds, if you want the exact breakdown look at your account statement or betting history on the website.

Well, another theory is that it could be down to cross matching.

If you back Team A at certain odds, Betfair matches part of your bet by backing Team A, part by laying Team B / The Draw.

It always does it at odds that are equal or better than the ones you requested.

I take it you tried to back at 11.00, not at 12.00. Correct?

Sorry, yes, entered at 11.0

I checked betfair statement/history/p&l and it says matched at 11.12 with average odds turned off/on

On your market in the profit and loss screen on the website is the 'runner' highlighted in blue, i.e. a hyperlink , if you click that it should show the breakdown of how the bet was matched.

https://myaccount.betfair.com/activity/profitandloss

Only other option is a BSP bet or reduction factor applied, not applicable here, for it to be outside the valid odds increment.

There's usually a little blue asterix next to the odds to show if the bet has been matched at more than one price

No blue asterix.
