Mexico could play at 70% and still win comfortably today IMO.
I think this has actually happened, Mex not at best but easily enough better than Korea.

It was partly that comment in the first place that prompted me to look at this as a bet

Glad if it helped, amazed Korea actually scored at the end there.

Backing Mexico to win this match has been one of the very few straight bets I will have this year

They haven't played too badly, but haven't had any luck. Backed at 1.06 to qualify at the start of the tournament.

bullshit!!! i backed under 6.5 at 60 min because i thought things are slowing down and at 80 min i thought meh... they wont score so i didnt bother to trade out. i could have exited at 1.03
Bullshit is a bit over the top. There was an unusual number of goals in the last 5-10 plus injury time at the last WC and without checking the numbers, I would venture a guess that it has continued this time around. Back-laying the under markets late is risky business, I'd say.

Apart from my trading, the last two days I've had asians on Costa Rica +1.50; Serbia 0; Belgium -1.50; Mexico -1.00; Sweden +1.00 and a straight bet on Nigeria. Four of those swinging against me very late. Now that's BS  And the mouse did take flight with that Kroos goal, which never happens, otherwise.
