When you look at the stats I think you are nearer to the truth that you realise. On average there are around 3 shots on target per goal, so you would expect that there would have been 36 shots on target. There were 20 and only 8 to Hibernian so you have to point the finger at defense. Remarkable result, I put a note up on the blog about it.

Spot on, I was at the Milton road end that evening, just behind the goal, about half way up. I used to be in many different parts of the stadium depending on who my sister was dating at the time, so I stood or sat all over the Dell.

It's one of those matches I will never forget. It seemed everytime anybody attacked a goal would go in.
