Are the Saints fans here confident tonight?

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

Well, was a pen technically, but one of those were if that's a pen, then there's two at every corner.

Hughes showed why he's not a PL-manager to me. Hojbjerg and Lemina did an immense job for 45-60 minutes controlling a centre the two of them against three. Once they started running out of gas and Brighton overran them, he failed to address it (until way too late) by making it three vs three or failing that at least subbing one of them.

I didnt watch the game but from the way it unfolded it looks like it was a great trading opportunity.
I think one of Peter's videos called it trading the unlikely comeback.

And the fact that Southampton looked handy putting Palace away.
We made Saints look better than they are. Palace played a shocker.
No diss but I wouldn't give that stat much weight.

A draw.....says the guy who's 61st in the Super6
Plus a draw keeps them both below Palace so that's my pick.
Shaun - you did realise that I was ironically quoting brimson back at him?
You'll be happy to know that I didn't gamble, and was quite clear I had no idea about this game.

My biggest takeaway from this game was that I really like Brighton's away shirt. A homage to Bremen? :)

Here are the final hot zone stats.

Certainly a game of 2 halves.

My view point was Lay2Back Brighton in the 2nd half...Brighton started strongly so I held back...then So'ton got a pen to go 2-0...let the game go in the end. In hindsight Laying So'ton @ 2-0 should have been the L2B trade with little risk as the stats suggested Brighton were best 2nd half.

Total disaster. Saints look a team desperate to win, rather than confidently seeing a game out

As a Stoke fan, I can safely say that "unlikely comeback" is something that should never be ruled out with Leslie in charge!

What do Saints fans think of Ings so far? Would you sign him permanently?

Apologies for the delay. Mark's full name is Leslie Mark Hughes.
