Bets just disapeared
This was a pretty big incident and Betfair have had loads of customer complaints about it.
An internal email about it states "the void on this match was incorrectly triggered.......In this case, a void should never occur but due to an IT error it did in the above time frame."
6 minutes of the game was voided, meaning that money was returned to customer accounts and the bets they had placed disappeared as with yours Dabbla. Betfair then realised that the void should not have occurred and went back and reinstated then settled old bets. So customers that think they have one position end up with quite another due to this error by Betfair.
Interestingly, in the standard email sent to customers who complained Betfair says "Unfortunately, bets on this market were initially incorrectly voided due to an incorrect report being sent by our scout in the field."
So in a nutshell Betfair made a massive balls up, cost people money, won't make it right with them and put the blame on someone else.
