It would be nice to see a reconciliation of estimates against actual results :p
Over the course of the season it's very close to actual but of course, individually it's highly variable.

Perfectly possible
Hi Peter,

Sort of, you need to look at previous results to get an idea of how many chances are being created etc and so on, but you also need to do that to the other team. So its more the ability between the two teams that becomes important.

With Ayr abandoned I did a bit more than normal on footie this weekend so made a lot of use of these - as usual very good accuracy :)

first time poster here who just stumbled across these ratings last week by following a link from another forum and was impressed enough to bet on some of this weeks
happy to say I made a very tidy profit overall so just wanted to say a quick thank you for sharing them and hope you'll be producing more for next weeks games?

Was it that Neymar wasn't playing? A front three of Mbappe, Cavani and Drexler just won't cut it against Montpellier. It is worth noting how toothless they were without him though.

There are always a few silent killers like this - another this week was Red Bull Salzburg vs Austria Vienna (0-0). Luckily stayed clear of both, but looked at them.

I try to tell myself to do the opposite of my first intention when I find odds that are way higher/lower than my comfort zone - e.g. on the PSG game - but wasn't so brave this time.

Thanks Peter, I've had a go recently at forming expectations of the expected number of goals in a game with similar figures to yours, which I would class as a success! Do you factor possession at all in your calculations?
