Given that Premiership matches pre-match generally have high liquidity and very little price movement, is it generally profitable to scalp them?

Thanks

Maybe not worth replying to this as it was such a long time ago, but I don't agree. There can be large movements in odds for Premier League games, especially in the last 30 minutes before KO. The teams are usually announced about this time, and if key players are missing or rested, then this can have a dramatic effect, and can provide a good trading opportunity. Use of a stop-loss can work well here.

ebasson is dead right

Premier League matches have some serious price movements in the 2 hours before kick-off.

The liquidity is very high, so it's quite easy to throw £10,000 into the market without distorting it

What strategy would you suggest for pre-match football trading?

Would be good to know of a site that gets the starting teams earliest so can get in their first?
