a bit unprofessional from a professional player of that caliber. She was looking tired and frustrated. Umpire has nothing to do with that. but the couch indeed has shown her something

Just when you thought you'd seen everything. I'm still taking it in.

I do, the official got sidelined into minor tournaments. Let's see what happens to the umpire!

Nothing, you would think. Commentators here saying that the coach has admitted to coaching.

Trading aside, what an absolute monster performance by Osaka. In terms of tennis play, but even more so on a mental level. 20 years old, first grand slam final against her idol no less, with all that happening around and still keeping 110% focus. Take a flipping bow, Naomi, I say!!!

Well, the point was for coaching which did happen, but the game was for abuse. Maybe a warning should have preceded that? Dunno, it was pretty aggressive.

She was on the ropes, the pressure of going for a 24th slam I guess. Feel sorry for Osaka.

You do have to feel sorry for Osaka not how you want to remember your 1st GS

My understanding is that any violation count equally, so it doesn't matter that she got three different types of violations, and she was therefore warned. One, coaching = warning; two, racket = point lost; three, umpire abuse = game lost.

Imo, she was warned and way, way out of line.
