Thanks a bunch! Just out of interest, where/how did you learn about it? (the new 3-second in-play delay)

Betfair didn’t tell me, I only found out when my bets where taking 3 seconds to hit the market!

As a result traded volumes have been shocking the last two nights. I hope betfair realise they have made a mistake and resume the 5 second delay.

Either that or just go 0 seconds unmanaged. 3 seconds is not enough to pull orders as most feeds and data is over 3 seconds behind.

Suppose it makes the courtsiders more money in the short term but that’s about it.

Thanks for the reminder. I forgot all about it. There is a separate thread for the Australian Open.

Rodionova\Hibino, first set.

More breaks than a council road gang. Lovely to trade

anyone else trading the Kuznetsova / Bencic match ? so much money keeps arriving for Bencic. It's well away from expected price.

this market is insane.. little point backing Kuznetsova, you'll still get 1.25 after she wins. can only think that someone somewhere thinks they know something about her fitness/health/motivation.

yes and yes, mine too is often a long way off. But reality is slippery, random and probablistic.. punishes stubborn, brittle and fragile ideas, rewards the fleet of foot and observant. Models are probablistic guesses, in my experience, it's ok to be wrong and to keep guessing, you lose some and you win some... an added dimension to how you view models working is important.

looking forward to the return of Clijsters, plenty of happy memories trading her matches.
