There are probably more stats available for tennis than any other sport and practically everyone has them, it can, therefore, be very easy to become stat blind.
Do you know if you can get statistics for a player's winning serve percentage for individual games?
I collect that sort of data myself but there is likely more than one site out there somewhere that has it

Muguruza trying to hit too deep

Don't need depth against Kasatkina because she isn't realistically going to hit a winner.

Once upon a time I had a football strategy involving laying Real Madrid or whoever Ronaldo was playing for, when he was over a dangerous free kick.

Every now and then he would knock one in, and celebrate like he'd never scored a goal before, which would really get on my nerves.

Laying Kasatkina brings back those memories, she has so much skill and determination to win the points she has no right to win, it's so frustrating.

Not for the first time I've made more on a tennis match than an afternoon's racing. Certainly beats Evangeline Downs. :D

Thiem beat Nadal nearly a year ago by a similar scoreline, albeit a week later in Rome.
It didn't stop him getting a good thumping a few weeks later by Nadal at the French Open though...

There can often be a few good opportunities in the run-up to a GS as the top players want to give themselves the best possible chance and won't take any un unnecessary risks
