Quite a few arbs available between Betfair and Betdaq, so if you are a PC payer, get onto the market.

Euler,
Re the arbs on the golf.....I might be a bit confused here but I'm sure you'll clarify.....
I currently pay PC (I'm almost at the £250,000 level) so currently pay 20% but trouble is ahead.

Anyway I'm currently approx +£650 across all players on the Masters market....

...but for example if I say lay Tiger on BF at say 36's for £50 and then back him on BQ at say 38's then

if Tiger loses (most likely) then I will be £50 better off on BF (£48 after comm) but will be -£50 on BQ. After PC next week my £48 win will be effectively reduced to approx £39. So a likely overall loss of £11.

if Tiger wins then I'll be -£1,750 on BF and will win £1,757.50 on BQ (after 5% comm). Obviously that would save me lots of PC charge that week (in fact I probably wouldn't pay any). So a gain of £7.50

obviously I could lays others too as well as Tiger
is this along the lines of what you are suggesting?

My concern is in the long run is this what I should be doing to reduce PC - I have been recently putting random football bets into the market on BF on Match Odds winning some and losing some but generating commission.

I know if I just win, win, win I pay approx 18% of my weekly profits back as PC on Wednesdays but when I placed quite a few random bets last week I won approx £1,500 and lost £800 so £700 profit overall and on this £700 I only paid approx 14% PC....

....is this the best way forward???

sorry my reply has gone on a bit but it had to be lengthly to detail it properly..

I will look forward to your thoughts...

A reasonedview, open more accounts in friends and family names. I very much doubt the top payers are sat around with 1 account. Take profit you make on one account and swap it to another account.

Jason day has this in the bag. Obviously likes Augusta and come close a few times. Easy money

If you are near the higher rates then you are probably too far to make much difference now without a lot of work.

At lower rates you can keep average commission quite higher by churning or arbing.

If you churn between accounts on Betfair you will pay commission but not PC. If you arb Betfair don't get a lot of commission and you increase your average rate so that defers and minimises the impact.

If you do reasonable sums, set up a deal with Betdaq and then arbing becomes a common occurrence and Betdaq will be delighted of the liquidity.

Churning multiple accounts. Yuk! BF should supply ski masks for old customers that are allowed to still do it, whilst only allowing newer customers to have one account. :o

Perhaps they should stop linking accounts then!

Frustrated a Spieth having such a great couple of rounds at Augusta. Really killed this as a trading event this year.

Smallest number of positive movers at the cut that I've ever seen: -

Returns to £10 stakes

Jordan Spieth - 13 to 1.57 : £72.80
Justin Rose - 50 to 19 : £16.32
Dustin Johnson - 18.5 to 11 : £6.82
Phil Mickelson - 32 to 27 : £1.85
Ernie Els - 320 to 160 : £10.00
Paul Casey - 70 to 24 : £19.17
Charley Hoffman - 260 to 21 : £113.81
Kevin Streelman - 620 to 300 : £10.67

My point being, why do they stop anyone who doesn't have more than one account open more than one account, but they continue to allow old users to have multiple accounts. Why not just get rid of multiple accounts altogether or allow new users the same privileges?

Sorry for May be stupid question: What is the safest way how to churn money between multiple accounts? I mean how to ensure that both bets will be matched?
