Been watching some of Peters videos and decided to have a little nibble at the US Open. Confidence/form players appear to be a big factor and indicator of which players will do well. Based on this and having looked at who the form players are in terms of their recent finishes in tournaments on the PGA tour, I have backed Adam Scott, Kevin Kisner, Billy Horschel, Sean O'Hair and Stewart Cink with varying stakes. I've also done a bit of research on the course and the hardest holes i.e the ones were drop shots are most likely would appear to be holes 4, 7, 9, 14 and 18 so it may be a good tactic to lay players about to embark on holes 4-9. Looking at the weather forecast it looks to be nice weather on the first day so no real advantage to anybody in terms of the weather.

I have placed 5 back bets on 5 different players on the US Open. The odds on 4 of them are all still exactly the same and the other one the odds have come in slightly. However my CashOut figure is currently -£37. I could understand this if the odds had drifted. Can somebody explain?

Big price gaps in the market will cause this - look at the lay prices available for one or more, there will be much higher than you backed at

For the US Masters this year I managed to find some really good each way arbs, especially between Skybet and the 8 to place market on BF. The US Open however has been hopeless for arbs. At one time the golf markets were ATMs for arbers, not the case anymore unfortunately.

Dont understand why there is so little liquidity in the market. One of the players I backed pre off is +4 already. I want to cash out but there is not enough liability to cash out. The other thing is, I have backed 4 other players but only seem to have 1 cash out option. How do I cash out on just one of my players?

Use the ladded screen and just click the trade profit figure (left column of each ladder) on the selection you want to green up/cash out. See bottom of this thread
http://www.betangel.com/forum/viewtopic ... 47&t=11572

On the one click screen you need to create a short cut key then just hoover your mouse over that selection and click it

You don't have to take the price, offer one to make sure you don't lose too much on the spread.

I'm trading the winners market but I don't have the software. I'm just using the betfair site.

Horshel is bottom of the leader board at +6! He is supposed to be in form. So much for confidence!
