Interestingly Peter, Fowler had a lot of late money leading up to the event - he was 29 at the start of the week.

Clearly must have been looking good in practice

It's been my best ever result on a Golf tournament to the cut. May just leave it there.

Top ten cut players have excavated 43% of the book.

Not a fan by any means but it was a decent comeback!

Absolute nightmare day for me. I carefully selected 5 in form players to back and every one of them are well over par. Looking at a £150 loss. Think I should stick to tennis!
Players at the front of the field tend to play for the weekend and often screw up. It's players at the middle or back that tend to spring unexpected surprises.
What do you mean by front of the field? Are you referring to tee off times and the players that start their rounds first?

Would you mind sharing what trades you did and on who as I got it completely wrong.

I would think he means the favourites in the betting

Bad tourney for me, I'm currently -£1.23

I would normally expect to take 3 figure profits from weekly golf tournaments

I didn't back the favourites. They were all fairly long odds selections

Anybody got any trading ideas for final stages? Koepka is 1.74 but only 1 shot ahead. Worth a lay?

My finger was hovering on a lay at 1.74 but I didn't do it and he then proceeded to bogie sending his odds drifting to 2.38! Annoying

Worth a shot. I'm too tired to trade the late stages
