All the facile choke slurs came out on twitter for Koepke when his lead was whittled away to 1 but it wasn't a choke it was playing defensively that was the problem imo. An already multiple major winner cannot be a choke artist. Well done Koepke.

You can sort of predict these things in sport. People prefer to protect a lead than try and extend it and blow it spectaculary. Teams in the lead will sit back and protect it generally. Apart from Man City in the FA Cup it seems, but dual contests often suffer from that scenario where there is a gulf in class. Hopefully you understand where I am coming from!!!
