looking forward to.the masters this year. I can see a real good battle between roary and tiger. Roary has been playing bad but for any young serious golfer, Augusta is the biggest of them all. It brings a certain excitement and knowledge of the course that kicks everyone into action. Therefore, I have a sneaky feeling Roary will come out firing and its.a course he does well on.

Tiger is on fire right now and is the man of the moment that everyone is talking about. I hope he wins as he is someone I watched when I was a youth (1 year difference with tiger) and I remember seeing him win the us amateur against mat kuchar (I think) in an amazing come back as a 16 year old and thinking this boy will take it to the next level. He did! He became the biggest sports star on the planet for 10+ years. Therefore, Id like him to win to beat Jacks 18 majors just for.the fact I lived through it.

Ive not looked at the odds yet but Ill probably be backing roary as a gamble. Im imagining Tigers odds will be to short to back.

Hope its a cracker.

I've been trading the masters for quite a few years now and the thing I really like about this tournament, from a trading perspective, is the fact that they play it on the same course each year. I feel like I've practically played there myself.

It's the one tournament where I am almost certain to make some money each year. The problem this year is Tiger is at much shorter odds, 4.70 or so if I remember. I prefer more competitive tournaments. He seems to have some fire back in him at the moment.

I thought tiger would have been even lower than 4.7 after his latest win and the fact he has a new bird and roary well off the ball.

The masters is great being on the same course every year. I dont really trade it but I find the last few holes chuck up some real easy money knowing the opportunities on 15, 16 especially with a par 5 where someone like tiger would only be hitting in 7 iron and then 16 where the hole always feeds into a possible hole in one. I seem to do well around them two holes especially.

I hope its a cracker between roary and tiger. I have a sneaky feeling roary will get his game back for that week..

looks like roary played himself back into form last week. lets hope both him and tiger bring their A games and create a real good battle. My hope for the tournament is always Westwood but with his dodgy putting I doubt he will manage to knock in enough putts.

Looking forward to this.
I just downloaded the Masters App..and noted these two paragraphs:-

Remember that in five of the last six Masters the winner has emerged from outside the list of those considered favorites when the tournament began.

Woods has not won the Masters in eight years. But he has come close frequently. Beginning in 2006, he has finished third, second, second, sixth, fourth and fourth. In 2012, Woods finished in 40th place, his worst finish at Augusta National as a professional, and his frustration showed.

Tiger is at 5 at present, but I wouldn't feel comfortable placing a lay on him right now!

Justin Rose always plays well at Augusta. I reckon if he can get to the weekend on a half decent score that could be an interesting side bet.

After a strong start Tiger has made a couple of mistakes, things are looking up!

I alid Tiger at 3.8...but bottled out as I though he was past the holes he was likely to drop shots on..

I am going to trade the Masters for the first time and approach it as a 4 day horse race.

I will presume the front runner is over bet.

I am will to go for shit or bust on the first 2 days and manage my position more carefully on the last 2 days.

I will plan for plenty of fear, panic and greed in the final furlong.

I ended up dutching a few long priced players and with two of them being Johnson and Garcia I'm in a good position now. Intended to fully exit the trade by the end of the 2nd round but thinking I might just reduce some liabilities and go from there now.

I'm kind of treating laying Tiger like I'd lay the leader in F1 and looking to exit at specific points.
