BJ - Its worth reducing your liability on some of the front runner in the early stages.
Last year I did very well on Angel. Look at his graph this year (I know he is >800 at the moment) , but last year he went out to 970 (?) before coming back in under 4's (?)

Iast night I scalped him (and others) and I had something like £1500 green on him, a couple of hundred on Phil Mickelson etc

With a bit of luck you should be OK at the cut.
(PS If anyone is ditching these markets for less than £2 stakes, be careful. If the selection is already at 1000, you will get the full £2 matched)
Regards
Peter

Yes I think Ive fallen foul of this the 1000 are lopsidedand none have come in at all, and the screen is looking a birt scary at the moment.

ButI wont tinker and will stick to the original plan I hope its green later tonight.

Fred Couples is such a banker at Augusta. Thought I was taking a risk on him this year but it's paid off again.

Yes, more 'risk' and more banked on Freddie would have been in order. Now to manage the exits or get greedy an ignore them :) with bets on Couples, Senden (part exit taken), Spieth, Leishman (missed exit), and Watney.
Also on Senden at the gift price @19 for top Aus.

Couples is too old now to see it right through the weekend. So watch him like a Hawk and minimise exposure ahead of the closing holes. But I'd exit fully at the cut.

Its been a good one to trade this year that's for sure
Ive just tidied it up a bit, but the dutching resulted in 112% of original stake.
I scalped the odd one and traded a few out early
Only wish I'd been a bot more aggressive on the staking!

Peter, some good tips in the blog thanks

That pretty much mirrors my results PeterLe but I used such small stakes that I'm tempted to use my green to dutch again.

Hi Consty,
Just curious; I dutched 100-500, did you go higher/lower?
Im not sure I'd go back in again with a dutch at this stage if i were you? Some of the other traders may be able to advise?

From memory; last year I simply scalped the leader (lay first) and that world well. If you do that on the holes where they are likely to drop a shot, then it should be fairly safe?

Anyway good luck
Regards
Peter

PS be careful if you are greening up as some are still trading at 1000, you dont want to give any profit away at this stage..

82% of eventual winners have historically been within 5 shots of the lead at the start of day three. The market is currently pricing 5 from the lead at 78%.

I dutched 200-600. I've left bigger profit on a couple of players but I'd like to try and get some on Bubba and Scott but not at current odds.
