I think they didn't let women play there until very recent and that was just because some bird was CEO of a major sponsor if I remember correct so they let her join as a member. The boy just hadn't done his homework.
There are places near where I live where women are not allowed in.
The social club where I play snooker didn't allow women in till 12 months ago.
My Missus was disgusted. I said well they do allow women in at Christmas. She said "Well its a start"
I replied "They are allowed to bring the sandwiches in for the lads!"

PS They are still not allowed on the tables

Sounds like the perfect arrangement. I suspect they are also allowed in with a hoover, a duster and a can Mr Sheen and maybe even behind the bar.
I bet you there are more places were men are excluded, if not explicitly then by social convention.
Speaking of which, the other day I was in the gents in the local supermarket and a woman bold as brass walked and went into one of the cubicles. Whether the ladies convenience was closed or out of order, I do not know, she did not explain, she just gave me that look which said "Do you dare challenge my right to use this convenience?" Needless to say I didn't.

Meanwhile, the Masters, I am a Tiger layer, so I am a bit stuck this year.

I just wondered what other opinions were on trading this..
It seems to be a different experience than last year, it almost feels like we have a slight advantage interns of the delay?
I was just trading Phil Mickelson there and i was just trading according to what I could see on the screen..and it was as if the market was ever so slightly behind?

Great putt by Leftie.

Not sure on the delay, I didn't make any notes on last year. I know they are strict on phones etc so maybe no greensiders.

Very Strange.
I dutched (and traded Angel separately)
I was just attempting to reduce my liabilities on the better ranked players and done great this evening.Looking forward to the cut!
Just did it again on lee Westwood, only making 4 or 5 ticks, but it adds up at those odds..

not as exciting without Woods, betting wise too, but hoping the top of the leaderboard remains tight with lots of challengers over the weekend then it should be good.

SF
I think the betting has been much better this year without Tiger
Dutching the outsiders looks already to have been profitable.

BJ - Its worth reducing your liability on some of the front runner in the early stages.
Last year I did very well on Angel. Look at his graph this year (I know he is >800 at the moment) , but last year he went out to 970 (?) before coming back in under 4's (?)

Iast night I scalped him (and others) and I had something like £1500 green on him, a couple of hundred on Phil Mickelson etc

With a bit of luck you should be OK at the cut.
(PS If anyone is ditching these markets for less than £2 stakes, be careful. If the selection is already at 1000, you will get the full £2 matched)

Peter

Yes I think Ive fallen foul of this the 1000 are lopsidedand none have come in at all, and the screen is looking a birt scary at the moment.

ButI wont tinker and will stick to the original plan I hope its green later tonight.

Fred Couples is such a banker at Augusta. Thought I was taking a risk on him this year but it's paid off again.

Yes, more 'risk' and more banked on Freddie would have been in order. Now to manage the exits or get greedy an ignore them :) with bets on Couples, Senden (part exit taken), Spieth, Leishman (missed exit), and Watney.
Also on Senden at the gift price @19 for top Aus.
