This is a Guardian advanced automation bot for use on horse racing markets.

This is not really a bot but a demonstration on how a simple signal can be used to ensure ANY in-running automation you already have set up can be disabled should a race not go off within a number of seconds/minutes of the official post time. This is especially useful on busy days like Saturdays when races are clashing a lot and you want to ensure all the markets you have in-running automation applied to don’t overlap.

If a race has not gone in-play within 60 secs of the official off time the bot sets a signal, existing in-running rules you may have can then use a condition to check to see if this signal is set before triggering (if a signal is set it means the race was late off and you’re in-running rule now wont fire).

For demonstration purposes I have added a simple in-running back the fav with a 20 tick offset greening as part of this automation file.

To use the file just click on the Cancel Automation if Race is Delayed.Baf attachment link below and this will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click "Import a Rules File" as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the drop down box just above, you can now apply it to any markets you have added into guardian.

The stake size as with all other aspects of this file can also be edited very easily by clicking on "Edit Rules File" then click on the "General, Parameters & Conditions" tab and change to whatever you require.

Additional parts/conditions can also be added or removed from the bot as you build it into your own bespoke automation file.

With any automation bot always run in practice mode first to ensure everything is working fine, and repeat this each time you make any changes

Hi Dallas,

Thinking of a slight variation for this with Greyhound Racing. If I have automation which looks to back during the most liquid part of the market (final 2 minutes IF race is on time) throughout multiple races within a meeting, is there a way to set a signal saying:

If Race X = 'Delayed', do not use automation on Race X=1.
If Race X+1 = 'Delayed', do not use automation on Race X=2

If Race X+2 = 'Within acceptable parameters', continue automation on Race X+3?
