Hi,

have a bet + offset going into market.

Both are matched as 'matched bets' tab has the bet ref's that match the ones in logs:

13/09/2017 17:23:07: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
13/09/2017 17:23:08: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
13/09/2017 17:23:08: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
13/09/2017 17:23:11: [G_Auto] : £ 5.00 Lay bet placed on Bogart at 13.5. Fully matched at 13.32. Ref: 102441273006 ( Offsetting by 20 ticks. )
13/09/2017 17:23:12: [G_Auto] : £ 5.00 Back bet placed on Bogart at 27. Entirely unmatched when it initially reached the market. Ref: 102441276017
13/09/2017 17:24:09: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended

There is a rule to 'close trade on selection with greening' which triggers from 00:00 in play to well beyond when the race should finish. The only condition on it is that 'unmatched bets = 0' ie. only trigger if offset has been matched.

For this race my rule above didn't trigger so i ended up with £68 on one horse with no greening - not sure why. The last trigger on my greening rule is at 17:24:00 with back bet being matched at 17:23:47 and market going suspended at 17:24:09. If you follow this logically then greening should've happened.

Can anybody help?

thanks

Why not just offset with greening & fill or kill?
That would save the need for a separate green up rule and be far more efficient

TQhanks for reply.

What I have currently is an offset lay for a particular favourite horse as soon as race goes inplay. Then I have a green up rule that is running from same time that looks to see if 'unmatched bets=0' and if so, it greens up for a profit.

I then have other green up rules (race distance dependant) that green up if my offset doesn't match with a 'profit >0' condition folowed by a 'stop' green up which is the same but without the profit condition. The 'stop' green up is set to kick in a minute after the one with the profit condition.

Can I still implement this strategy using the offset with greening?

I want to ensure that even if the offset doesn't match that I still attempt to green up for a profit. What would be the best way of doing this? Having multiple offset lays with varying kill or fill values based on race length?

thanks for help thus far!
