Not a lot going on in those hours, but just in case anybody's got trades open and have missed it:

We're running maintenance on 16/11/2017 from 00:00 to 01:30 GMT. All Betfair products will be unavailable. Apologies for any inconvenience.

I was just about to issue a warning myself when I noticed the gap in the market schedule.

It's so annoying that Betfair only announce this on a site that I only visit when problems arise. When you visit the Betfair exchange site they often have a splash screen to draw your attention to unimportant news that you're not interested in, but the site being down for 90 minutes dosen't appear to be significant to them.

They really should have a mail about this, you can opt in for. In the meantime, I can only suggest following the CS on Twitter.

It's not really practical to check CS on twitter every day - they usually have advice for people who gamble too much, need advice about Betfair commission or points, or just advertise their own products.

I suppose if you get caught out with an unbalanced book, it means more commission for them, so they won't be too concerned.

Midnight till 1:30 is a pain. It clashes with 9 NBA games . 5 in the morning would have been much better.

That clashes with Australian racing, 9am would be best. I would prefer that they ask me what time I'm going to bed, and plan their maintenance to coincide with my sleeping time. ;)

Doesn't an hour and a half go quickly - barely had time to get some housework done and now Australia is soon starting.

When do you sleep, Derek?!

I know in the past you've mentioned you trade the US racing as well.

There's not much going on mid to late morning, which is why I've only just got up. :)

Itchy fingers at Betfair, the 19:17 at Aqueduct went in-play 3 minutes early.

Anyone having problems logging in the website? I'm getting an error message, logged in the API fine.

"We are experiencing some technical issues and unable to proceed with your login. Please try again later."

They do seem to cok up the site around xmas time, API now down for me too.
