My alarm was set for 6.30am. I travel 35 miles to Cardiff, sat outside a William hill waiting for them to open at 8.30 in the pissing down rain to get £20 on around 5 shops looking for 11/2 & 6/1. By the time I get to my third £20 the price is 9/2. Does any bookmaker lay any horses any more. Seriously, no wonder so many has turned to trading. My last bet and 5th bet was on at 4/1. What a waste of utter time.

5.25 Wolverh El Torito. It is still value all the way to about 2/1 & 6/4

6s is going to be a great opening back trade IMO. If it reaches there looks like it will resist at 6 and come back further.

Certainly a well handicapped horse on its old form ..running off 55 here and has won on the turf off 73 .. note of caution tho it has dwelt or started slowly on at least three occasions but was an eyecather last time out still around 5.3 ( was 5.7 not so long ago ) .. and don't know a lot about its rider

Price still value based on past form but think SHR is wrong to say all the way down 2/1 6/4 would still value .

Interesting runner .. tho on back form ( long time dunce his last win ) you could make a case out for old ambitious boy at much bigger price ( around 19.0) Decent jockey and small stable had three winners recently

One of those low grade sprints which you could run 10 times and get 10 different results !!

If only you knew what i know with regards to this runner without sounding arogant. The price is going to get smashed up and the 7lb claimer is "pretty talented".

You don't know what everybody else knows about all the other runners. :)

This horse is only 4. The gelding op has brought improvement to a horse who was rated 78 in the summer. He wasnt right since his op so they ran him on bottomless ground over the wrong trip for a bit. With the Jockey taking 7lbs off he is the best part of 30/35lbs better then the rated field. And hes actually trying today for the first time in about six months.

Dalness Express looks a good bet in the 1st race - drawn in the carpark but barrier does well for fancied runners.

Jim Boyle has landed a few gambles to be fair shrewd people around there.

I've figured yours usually put a decent run in.
More than happy with 2.9 IP after taking a freebie by trading from 5.3 all the way into under 4.
Cheers.

Good day for the trainer J G M O'Shea... 2 wins from 4 runners... and even his 50/1 gave the 1/3 fav a real scare in the 1.25pm before finishing 2nd (and they were jumping over each other to back it in the last 2mins pre-off).. only one that was eclipsed drifted like a barge in the markets...
He's doing well this guy... had the 25/1 winner in El Torito's race.

I did say Ambitious Boy had a decent chance .. I'm a great believer in stable form .. his horses have been running well . As has Chris Gordon's was 4 wins from 7 up until today and had a nice winner in a BALLYHEIGUE BAY . Stable form ( especialku with small stables . Can throw up big winners
