If you're running short on bread and can't get to the supermarket because of the snow you can always buy a loaf online.

17cm here near MktR and still snowing..... the dog's legs (Jack Russell) are only 12cm. I'm being stared at by someone expecting a walk but it'll have to manage with carpet games today to burn off the energy.

I'm lucky enough to have a large supermarket within walking distance but if I didn't a loaf of bread wouldn't be the most important thing I need.

If people are willing to pay up to £1500 for a loaf of bread, I wonder how much a can of beer would be.

Correction: nobody's willing to pay that price - that was the asking price.

Its times like this I'm really thankful for not having to brave the roads or have to commute anywhere

300+ have been stuck on the M80 in Scotland for 17hours!

From BBC.co.uk
"Hundreds of motorists stuck overnight on the M80 near Cumbernauld
No trains running in the red alert area and airport is closed at Glasgow and Edinburgh"
But the good news is :
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has cancelled visits to all but four of its establishments.
(If you're gonna rob a bank, today is the day )

She said: “All the schools in the Borders were closed yesterday so they decided to make the most of it and build an igloo in the garden.
“Once they built it they then decided they would stay out in it overnight.”
The kids up here are hardier.PNG
