Only just joined the Cilic match mid way through 2nd set - looks like I've missed a real ding dong so far!
Very long tie break which Zverev won, then MTO for set winner followed by immediate break, one for the archives.

Thanks, just noticed the 6 breaks of serve in the 1set, not sure I can remember there was last as many in a men's match

There were no breaks in the 1st. Could you have glanced at it, and seen the mini-breaks in the tie-break as such? I know Flashscore notes it as lost serve.

Ah yes I did just that counting the 'Lost serve' to 5-5 in the TB, not the regular games - think im overdue a break lol

No time for a break for you  Did you also miss the Halep match? Now THAT was a real ding dong. 9 breaks out of the 10 games in the first, with the dog taking the set. Insane stuff!

I wouldn't describe Sharapova in any way as a "dog" :D

However, her game is vastly improving and her court time was 14 hours + vs Halep's 4.
It bodes for a very interesting French Open.

I did indeed, I even had it earmarked as a potentially good trading match this morning which should of thrown up a few opportunities (not 9 breaks out of 10 good though) but completely missed my alert and lost track of time with the afternoon racing :(

I had that thought as I was writing and briefly considered changing it to another word for the underdog, but figured noone would think like that. So well done you ;)

Agree, she looked very strong in the first, and largely outpowered Halep in that set, which I really didn't think anybody would be able to do from what I've seen of Halep so far this tourny.

Amazingly strong considering how long she was on court before. She wouldn't be on the tonic again would she??! (Joke  :o )

Heaven forbid! She looked leaner than previous tournaments.

It must have been a massive psychological boost for Halep - that's 5 of their 9 matches (including all 3 times they have met on clay)
that have gone 3 sets and this is only the first of those that she has won.

Does anyone have the overall serve percentages for the Nadal match please - the Betfair stats aren't working?

Sorry, I saw this a bit late but my advice is to download the SofaScore app for this kind of stats.

Or simply use their website:

Still fairly newbie in tennis trading. Out of curiousity, will there be enough liquidity and interest for trading to be a thing for the quals for the French starting tomorrow? Or is there only enough interest once the tournament starts proper?

Not worth bothering with until it starts proper the following week
