If Liverpool can see off Chelsea today with the points in the bag and an easier run in I'd like to think they have a better than 50/50 of pulling off the Premiership this year

Good strong performance from Liverpool, very promising sign if they maintain that in the next 4 games :)

Today marks the 30th anniversary the Hillsborough disaster

While I was quite young I still remember exactly where I was and who I was with the moment the news broke on Grandstand that afternoon

I had a German exchange student staying with me and we'd gone to London for the day and I heard about it on the radio in a cab. Very sad day.

Just seen interesting stat:

Today marks an entire month since the last draw in the Premier League.

March 16th:
Bournemouth 2-2 Newcastle.

 That equates to 6-0 on my stats algo.

Here is more of a breakdown.

Just looking at Cardiff's relegation odds

Now I know Cardiff's away form is absolute dogshite, but...

Assuming they win tonight... they then play

(& I've assumed both teams lose against the top 6)

Fulham (away) - Winnable
Palace (home) - Safe, & huge rivals with Brighton

Meanwhile, Brighton

Wolves (away) - tricky
Newcastle (home) - Winnable

Assuming the maths is right ;) that leaves:

Brighton: 36pts
Cardiff: 37pts

Worth a pop at 1.1?

Brighton's form is terrible at the moment. But they still need to slip up a few times to still go down, but confidence must be low.

Don't Brighton still have to play Wolves, Newcastle, Spurs, Arsenal and Man City ?

Looks that way, shocker of a run in.

Even though Newcastle haven't won at the Amex they are on a bit of a roll at the moment and played very well all round at Leicester last Friday to win.

Your right, i wouldn't want to be hoping for an upset against Arsenal or Man City in the final 2 games.
