ok so if i have a servant that lays a selected horse for a stake of a tenner in running is there a way of recording the odds that the lay bet was placed at and passing this to a second servant that will place a back bet st double the stake if the odds half.

You could do it with the same servant

The first rule places the lay bet, and on the stored value tab store the 'servant context price'
then adjust that by adding whatever percentage you want

Then add a second rule that places the bet at 'A Stored Value Price' and enter the name of the stored value you created above

This might also help

ok so testing a modified version of whats been posted problem is the lay odds are not always set. so ideally need the servant to record the price that my lay is matched/placed at and then if the odds drop to half of those odds to place a back bet to the amount thats double the lay bet

on top of this when the back bet is set to half the lay odds its fires as soon as the lay bet has been matched is there a way of this firing once the back bet gets close to half the lay price odds

Did you modify the rule to 'place at' Servant Context on the Parameters tab?

It will then place the lay bet and store the odds (with your adjustment of whatever % you want) of the price you have your cursor over at the time
