this all looks to be headed in the right direction with enough freeform input to capture complex market mixes but with a simple and recognisable *syntax* that is used already in other parts of the application (market filters/quick picks etc)....
Was just thinking if the conditions can be applied to EVENT_NAME then could condition on distance too (as well as race type)...

There is an existing race distance condition available now. :)

In case anyone missed a new 'Text Comparison condition' has been added to V1.55 which will allow users to do everything asked for in this thread and more
