Bit late now but someone should have started a Goodwood thread.

0 from 4 at Goodwood today, a day I'd rather forget.

I must of wiped out nearly half of the card today. I used something I saw Dallas post a while back about filtering markets by price but I changed it a little and ran a stored value to history list to check if every selection had over 40% of the market volume and if so place a £2 lay bet at 1.0 from there I just deleted the rest out of Guardian.... No idea what I've missed.

It's been a quiet day, but I've just tried to avoid mistakes and taken what I could see. A defensive day.

Just got spooked out of a decent trade on Winter Power, big lay order wiped out a chunk of prices right up to my entry.

Did someone just do a fat finger on Ballyare? Never looked like winning but traded 1.01

It was next to the winner in the betting so guess they clicked the wrong one. Think the x-matcher pushed the winner's last price to 28/1 and £7k matched on the loser at 1.01 all prices down from 1000 too so god knows how much they clicked on it.

I missed that. Had to get something to eat. Would love to have seen that.

must have been one guy betting significantly more than the other in running guys then if the winner was pushed out to 28? or did it look like multiple guys or some misfiring automation causing this? missed that race

I wasn't watching the race just saw the winners last price was 28's then noticed there were no prices next to Ballyare and it last traded 1.01 . There's a thread on the betfair forum, but looks like it was simply a misclick of someone looking to buy cash in the last 10 yards or so.

It won't happen.

But Tilsit should be disqualified there. They need to change the rules.

Tilsit by far best horse... But other countries must laugh at us. Eventually someone will be killed in a similar incident. Jockeys job is to win the race.. If you start disqualifying the winners than less of these things will happen.

I was amazed the places remained.
