Where can I monitor if the API is working? My problem is that I was so deep in the markets I didn`t even realize something had happened. I was placing some bets but no idea if they were matched or not. So, I didn`t even know what my exposure was and couldn`t adjust my position using sportsbook. That was too stressful

The link below tells you when API components are down but it's not really much use if you're actively trading because you'll notice the API problems before that page gets updated.

Derek27, thanks a lot for the link. I don`t know where I will notice it first, but it`s good to have various indicators of what`s going on. Today was my first outage and I literally panicked.

Admittedly, they are rumours but I've seen some chat on various FB groups and Telegram that placing trades on the Exchange and bets on the same market in Sportsbook can result in an instaban on the Exchange.
I know of one poster I used to chat with regularly who had an instant ban and was doing nothing suspect but the above. That was all we could pin it down to.

Anyone confirm or deny ? Was just wondering what the effect might be of an API crash and covering the bet on Sportsbook...

Are you talking about being banned from the Sportsbook? If you win money on the Sportsbook you will be banned like any other bookie would do. It won't necessarily be because you're arbing and trading the same market.
