Hi I'm a total newb to BetAngel and have been watching the tutorial vids.

I think I have it down pat at the moment, been making good profit I guess and wondering what would be the next thing I should look into.

I'm using BA trial it has some bugs that I don't understand but overall its working ok, maybe I'm overloading it a tad...

I bet on horses and dogs, haven't done any sports yet.

what should I focus on next

cheers

The trial version is the same as the full version which has no known bugs, can you be a bit more specific?

I think he means the features that he doesn't understand?

Hi Adrian

Real profit or practice mode profit? Massive difference between the two, a lot of people feel like world-class traders in practice mode when they start out :D

If you've cracked 2 different types of racing, that's all you need.

I wouldn't worry, he's "got it down pat" and "making a good profit" - that is the goal after all.

It might help if you told us what happened and what you were expecting?

well the prices got matched but it returned a negative number in the P/l column
usually when the prices matches it goes all green.
greening is enabled at all times mostly

Are you suggesting that creating a losing trade is a software bug?! Because that would be a first :o :)

Mind and check the log to see what prices the bets were matched at. Is it what you expect?

You will probably have to post the log (of error) if you want someone to look at it..

Yep, that's definitely a bug in BA, you should always win money when you press the green-up button. ;)

And you say you're having difficulty recreating the loss/error?

That one shouldn't be too difficult to recreate :) It's often just one click away :D

Unless you're trading Rosehill. Try placing a losing trade and the market jumps in your favour. :D
