High street bookmakers in Liverpool and other area's about to be placed into Tier3 restrictions look likely to be closed this week
I doubt too much of those 10p Yankees make it to the exchange.

Been a hectic few months I'd be happy with racing going back to lockdown for a break. As long as the dogs and AUS markets are running I'm sure I'll be fine :o

What worries me if Trump makes a speedy recovery is that he might claim he was right about the virus being no more potent then flu, resulting in thousands more spreading the virus and dying.

Let's hope it doesn't happen. ;)

Some years ago an English professional poker player went to LV for the WSOP (who I won't name) and told some Americans that he came from Sherwood Forest, the home of Robin Hood. So he told loads of them he had brought real acorns from the home of Robin Hood and was getting orders from clueless yanks and eventually made $1k selling them at $10 each....true story.

So I am not shocked how many of them believe his "extremely thin" account of him having Covid. He never at any stage looked ill. He never needed to go into hospital because he wasn't bad enough. it was one big staged Donald Trump show and that's not me being David Icke about it either. It's a binary outcome whether he had it or not but even if he did, he can't come out and say "he's immune" because there is no evidence that anyone with Covid has immunity.

To say he has had experience of it and is thus in a position to speak more intelligently about the subject  There are people with "long covid" still battling this virus months later so what the hell has he "experienced" even IF he has had it.

I had my first face mask confrontation today...had to happen at some stage :D

Wales lockdown: Supermarkets told to sell only essential items
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-54648194

The only thing left for politicians to do is to seize the means of production and we'll have full socialism! Then the shelves really will be empty.

Probably just me, but the resurgence of the 'er' in poltician's public speaking is really cretinous.

The primary motivation for the creation of the site was purely to make mischief at the expense of politicians and for the founding author’s own self-gratification.

A good site it is too. And the story really is true, sadly... https://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/ ... y-barclay/
