Interesting program, shame they only touch on the future!

Also that guy doesn't stand a chance with only 4 screens :D

yep enjoyed that..
next week looks interesting too...that woman sitting on the sofa with her MacBook and 1.5m in her account saying "Making money is easy"!
lots of similarities with sports trading too
Jeff the under lying theme was all filmed against a back drop of a paid training course...so you might want to watch with your teeth clenched! :D
worth a watch
wouldn't it be interesting if they did one on sports trading, that would boost liquidity...

I thought the program was a bit poor to be honest. Hopefully next weeks will be better where it focusses on people who trade at home which is more akin to what happens with users on here and what perhaps people on here hope to do in the future but on financial markets.

I was impressed to see them focus and discuss a lot about the psychological and emotional aspects of trading. Also they did try to balance the profits made with losses which was good to see.

I wonder how many people Googled the trading course those people went on. I didn't so not sure if it is something that is for sale (I assume it is) but it did come across as a bit of an info'mercial for it.

Overall not the best but not the worse hour of TV.

I'm not against trading courses.

However, I think that if someone hands over £3,000 for a weekend course, and expects to learn knowledge that will enable them to earn more than their dentist, who put in 5 years of full-time study, they will probably be disappointed...

It was a good programme, as it showed how people's emotions seriously dictate what they do. It showed how some traders naturally feel the desire to chase a loser. It showed how intelligent people can fail at trading just because they are too cautious, or cannot manage risk correctly. It also showed how computerised algorithms have transformed the industry making it more and more difficult for John Smith sat in front of his screen

All of these things apply to sports trading
