I trade it. Also the NRL. Not great amounts of money but enough. The Aussie bookies have heaps of specials, lead at any quarter and money back if you lose. This opens the door to some good in play trading. Last night Richmond started at 1.24 and in the third quarter were better than evens. Given they were leading at half time this was trading heaven.
Have traded for some years now. With the backdoor entry of in-play betting with the online bookies there are some big differances in prices. One company was offering 1.95 richmond while they were still happy to take 1.80 on Betfair.
The NRL trades good if you can get the price right on the next try. If they are trading at around 1.36 setting your lay at around 1.19 gets you matched when a try is scored - or looks like it is scored - the amount of time the courtsiders get it wrong is huge now that everything goes to the video ref. You do need to be watching the games though.

Interesting to see that in both AFL and NRL the number of available markets have been reduced this year.

Had a go at AFL on weekend. The market is very Gappy due to low liquidity and not volatile at all.The delay in placing your bets is an issue.even anticipating a goal is more like a bet and not a trade.getting the goal right the market is so Gappy its difficult getting matched.Turning a potential scalp in to a swing trade with more risk.

I think there is absolutely no doubt, with passion and a cherry on top.
